Exit rate of risk management staff averages over 10%
Workers in middle income institutions tend to leave at a higher rate
Over 14% of risk management employees left central banks over the past three years on average, the Risk Management Benchmarks 2024 find.
Based on data from 25 central banks, an average of 14.04% of risk management workers gave up their roles. A lower-middle income institution from the Americas accounts for the largest exit rate of 80%. Only six respondents report no exits.
