Nurbek Jenish named Kyrgyz deputy
Jenish joins from the American University of Central Asia
A reshuffle at the top of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic is complete, after the central bank named Nurbek Jenish as a deputy chairman last week.
Jenish joins from the American University of Central Asia, where he has worked as an associate professor in the department of economics since 2009. One of his working papers – published in 2012 – called for "more aggressive policy control of inflation and minor interventions on the foreign exchange markets".
He has combined his academic work
