Central banks tend to see privacy and security risks as their main artificial intelligence threat, the Risk Management Benchmarks 2025 show.
Respondents graded risks in a range of one to five, with one being “least concerning” and five denoting “most concerning”.
Privacy and security received the highest average score of 3.6, ahead of reputational risks (3.2). Financial risk (2.9) and bias in AI models (2.7) have the least average gradings.
