Central Bank of Chile minutes reveal concern over slowing Brics

Chinese confidence indicators have fallen throughout the year, crossing into pessimistic territory to its lowest record since the mid-1990s, according to the Central Bank of Chile's monetary policy meeting this month.

The minutes from the central bank's meeting on September 12 underscore fears that the slowdown in countries including Brazil, Turkey, India, Indonesia and South Africa will have an adverse impact on the rest of the emerging world as well.
