G-20 commits to ‘strong and co-ordinated’ response to challenges

On Friday, the G-20, after its latest meeting, reiterated its intention to work together to rebuild the world economy.

"We, the finance ministers and central bank governors of the G20, are committed to a strong and co-ordinated international response to address the renewed challenges facing the global economy, notably heightened downside risks from sovereign stresses, financial system fragility, market turbulence, weak economic growth and unacceptably high unemployment," the countries said.
