People: ECB seeks new supervision chief
Andrea Enria nears term end at SSM; Bank of Canada appoints deputy; Israel names SWF head
Frankfurt: The European Central Bank is seeking a new chair to lead its supervisory board and head up the Single Supervisory Mechanism. Current chair Andrea Enria is due to complete his five-year, non-renewable firm at the end of 2023.
The ECB published a vacancy notice on its website today (May 17) and invited candidates to apply by June 23. Applicants must be a national of an EU member state, have “recognised standing and experience” in finance, and “extensive experience” in leadership roles
