UK: The chairman of the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority and Payment Systems Regulator has announced he will step down early from both roles in the spring of 2022.
Charles Randell was appointed chair of the FCA and PSR in April 2018 for a term of five years. He currently oversees both organisations’ boards, which are charged with setting the strategic direction of each institution.
While Randell has no executive responsibility for the day-to-day running of the FCA or PSR, he acts as an
