Bosnia and Herzegovina central bank staff donate salary to fight Covid-19

Over $20,000 will be donated to charities including the Red Cross

Employees at the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina have voluntarily donated a portion of their salaries to help people impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic.

A total of 39,443 marka ($22,722) has been donated to a number of charitable organisations including the Red Cross and the People’s Kitchen Stari Grad Sarajevo. The remainder of the funds is being distributed between a number of children’s charities.
