Central Bank of Iceland conducts dawn raid on fishing company

Samherji, the second biggest company in the Icelandic fish industry, was on March 27 the target of a dawn raid by the capital controls surveillance unit of the Central Bank of Iceland.

The central bank said the searches of the company's premises in Reykjavík and Akureyri were conducted in connection with the institution's "legally mandated investigative role". But Samherji was not happy.
