Boston Fed names new first vice president

Kenneth Montgomery, the vice president of Federal Reserve Information Technology, the central bank's IT wing, has been appointed first vice president of the Boston Federal Reserve, the regional Fed said on Tuesday.

Montgomery succeeds Paul Connolly, the current first vice president and chief operating officer of the Boston Federal Reserve, after he announced his retirement in April following 36 years at the central bank. Montgomery's appointment is effective 1 January next year when Connolly
