Central banks to review current practices with regard to cyber security

BIS has established central bank task force to thwart cyber crime

A task force has been established by an arm of the Bank for International Settlements to examine the security of wholesale payments that involve banks, financial market infrastructures and other financial institutions.

The Committee on Payments and Market Infrastructures (CPMI) announced on September 16 such a task force would examine the current state of the system before deciding how to proceed.
