Anti-corruption unit conducts raid on Emsley Tromp’s home, confiscating documents and data carriers
The private residence of the president of the Central Bank of Curaçao and Sint Maarten was raided on August 10 in conjunction with allegations of fraud, Central Banking understands.
In a statement released by the Office of the Attorney General, the anti-corruption unit of the Kingdom Detective Cooperation Team (KDCT) carried out seven searches at two addresses.
"The raids relate to suspected fraud in the private sphere by the man with the initials ET," the statement said.
