IMF chief has sharp words for Greek prime minister after phone conversation is leaked
Tensions are reappearing over the Greek debt crisis after a leaked phone conversation triggered an exchange of sharply-worded letters between Greek prime minister Alexis Tsipras and International Monetary Fund managing director Christine Lagarde.
The phone conversation, published on April 2 by Wikileaks but which occurred on March 19, took place between the IMF's Europe chief, Poul Thomsen, and its mission chief for Greece, Delia Velculescu.
