People: Bank of Finland names administration head; NBU appoints new director for pension fund
Bank of Israel establishes a joint team to promote electronic payments
Finland: Veli-Matti Lumiala has been named head of the administration department at the Bank of Finland, and will assume his duties on January 1, 2015.
The board of the central bank handed Lumiala, currently head of the infrastructure and systems division of the cash department, a five-year term. He succeeds Pirkko Pohjoisaho-Aarti, following her retirement.
Lumiala has headed multiple units at the Bank of Finland since 2002, with his responsibilities including security, real estate and cash
