BIS says strategic plan now 80% complete
Institution reports rise in profits as it continues to overhaul banking services
The Bank for International Settlements says its five-year strategic plan, including a major overhaul of its technology and governance, is now around 80% complete.
The institution, which has also been upgrading its banking services as part of the Innovation BIS 2025 plan, reported an increase in profits today (June 25). In the 2022–23 fiscal year, the BIS made a net profit of 679 million special drawing rights ($907 million), up from 341 million SDRs in 2021–22.
