Ambassadors from the G7 nations have forcefully declared their governments' support for the independence of Ukraine's central bank, which is the subject of a major political dispute.

Lawmakers from a number of Ukrainian parties have proposed a draft amendment to the law governing the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU).
