Chicago Fed announces Ellen Bromagen as first vice-president and COO

Chicago: Ellen Bromagen was named first vice-president and chief operating officer at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago this week, a role she will take up on September 1, 2015.

With 25 years of experience in the Federal Reserve System, she succeeds Gordon Werkema, who was appointed as the Federal Reserve's Payment Strategy Director earlier this year.

Leaving her role as executive vice-president, Ellen will now take on numerous responsibilities in areas including financial management, payments
