Philadelphia Fed survey sees brighter outlook for economy

Forecasters more optimistic about growth and unemployment

Economic forecasters in the US see growth rising and unemployment falling by the end of 2015, according to the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia's latest Livingston Survey, published on June 10.

The survey received input from 28 economists. The forecasters had revised their predictions for unemployment in December 2015 down from 5.4% at the previous survey to 5.1% in the latest. They are also more optimistic about growth in the latter half of the year, revising their forecast up from 2.7% to
