Central Bank of Hungary makes ‘criminal complaint’ against board member

The Central Bank of Hungary has registered a "criminal complaint" against one of its own supervisory board members, it announced yesterday, as part of an ongoing dispute about the central bank's use of public funds.

This is the second time the central bank has resorted to legal action in the past month. It first filed a complaint against media publication Index, after it published an article accusing the central bank of spending large sums of money without sufficient oversight.
