People: Bank of England names PRA board; Rwanda’s finance ministry and central bank swap chiefs
UK: The Court of the Bank of England on March 6 appointed three independent directors to the board of the new Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA).
The three directors, Iain Cornish, Rosalind Gilmore and Charles Randell, have been confirmed by UK finance minister George Osborne, and will begin their duties immediately. One further director with specialist experience of the insurance industry is still due to be appointed.
Iain Cornish was formerly chief executive of the Yorkshire Building
