Swiss National Bank relocates staff in Berne office renovation
The construction project has been approved by the central bank’s council
Swiss National Bank (SNB) staff based in Berne will be relocated for three years from January 2015, after the central bank received planning permission to renovate its premises in the capital city.
The SNB has a total of 780 staff, around 120 of which work in Berne. They are located within the Unesco World Heritage site in the city – meaning the building is old and in need of maintenance work.
