Bonds best way for business funding: Bank data

Investment-grade businesses should finance themselves by selling corporate bonds rather than borrowing from banks, data released by the Bank of England on Friday showed.

The results of the Bank's Trends in Lending survey for August activity show that though longer-term wholesale funding conditions for lenders had eased a little in recent months, corporates had yet to feel the full benefit of this.
