BIS appoints secretary-general and Innovation Hub leaders

Véronique Sani takes over from Monica Ellis as secretary-general to the bank

The Bank for International Settlements (BIS) has appointed Véronique Sani as its new secretary-general, as well as making two senior appointments to its Innovation Hub.

Sani is currently president of Advasio Consulting. She was previously chief operating officer at investment bank Natixis, where she oversaw technology, operations, procurement, real estate and transformation strategy. She holds a master’s degree in finance from HEC Grande École, Paris.
