Kenya commission publishes shortlist to succeed Njoroge

Six candidates on list to succeed governor, whose final term ends in June

The Kenya Public Service Commission (PSC) published a six-name shortlist of candidates to become the next governor of the country’s central bank.

The successful applicant will succeed Patrick Njoroge, whose second and final four-year term ends in June.

The commission’s shortlist, published on May 2, selected four men and two women from a total of 24 applications, 22 of which were from men. The commission will hold interviews on May 9.
