UK’s FCA appoints five women to senior roles

Regulator appoints chief operations and data officers, executive directors and market oversight chief

The UK’s Financial Conduct Authority has appointed five women to senior roles after restructuring its divisions at the end of last year.

The FCA appointed Stephanie Cohen as chief operating officer, and Jessica Rusu as chief data, information and intelligence officer, it announced on February 25. Both will assume their roles in June.

The regulator has also appointed two executive directors. Sarah Pritchard will lead its markets division and Emily Shepherd will lead the newly created
