Turkey’s president sacked the country’s central bank governor this weekend, and appointed a successor who has since been accused of plagiarism.

Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdoğan sent an official letter dismissing the central bank’s then-governor Murat Çetinkaya early on July 6, locally-based reporters said.
