People: RBNZ names new assistant governor
NZ chief economist to step down; Vanuatu governor gets new term; Swift CEO to depart, and more
New Zealand: The Reserve Bank of New Zealand appointed Patrick Hoerler as assistant governor and general manager of business operations on December 12.
Hoerler first joined the central bank in January 2017 as head of risk and audit. He was previously risk assurance officer for Mercury Energy, and has a background in corporate treasury, finance and international banking.
In his new role he will lead the RBNZ’s digital services, property assets and security teams, as well as overseeing the RBNZ
