MAS unveils ‘Looking Glass’ fintech lab
New facility in MAS building was built as a space for fintech firms to test new ideas
The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) opened a new fintech "lab" today (August 24), aiming to provide a space for fintech firms to come together and collaborate on projects.
The "purpose-built" facility at the MAS building, dubbed "Looking Glass @ MAS" in a reference to the "different world" of Alice in Wonderland, is designed to help firms to experiment with new ideas.
Operated by MAS's "FinTech and Innovation Group", which it formed in August 2015, the lab is also meant to "facilitate
