Swaziland's currency, the lilangeni, declined despite the Federal Reserve's decision to delay raising rates in September, the Central Bank of Swaziland has said.

In a summary of September's economic progress released on October 28, the central bank reported the lilangeni averaged 13.62 against the dollar, falling from August's recorded average of 12.88, a drop of nearly 6%.
