Fed officials renew calls to tackle inequality
Research conference underlines importance of 'economic mobility'
Federal Reserve chair Janet Yellen has made another call for policy-makers in the US to take income inequality seriously, outlining a number of areas that would benefit from further research.
"In the US, roughly 80% of Americans across the ideological spectrum see inequality as a moderately big or very big problem," she said, citing a study by the Pew Research Center.
