Energy and water subsidies create price distortions and waste
Policy-makers in Saudi Arabia should make efforts to cut back on various inefficiencies afflicting the economy, including excessive subsidies, Fahad Al-Mubarak, governor of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (Sama), said yesterday.
