Turkey central bank announces research award winners

Emrah Şener awarded $7,000 for The Geography of Risk Capital

The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) has announced the winners of a new annual research award.

The awards are granted to support research on the "Turkish economy, emerging market economies and/or central banking", as well as making studies "accessible to a larger audience".

Emrah Şener of Özyeğin University was awarded the top prize, as well as 15,000 lira ($7,000), for The Geography of Risk Capital.
