RBNZ deputy ‘very satisfied’ with risk management review
Bascand outlines important features of effective risk management framework
The Reserve Bank of New Zealand (RBNZ) is "very satisfied with the recent refresh" of its enterprise risk management (ERM) framework, according to deputy governor Geoff Bascand, who today described it as a "powerful tool that can continue to identify opportunity and drive innovation across the bank".
Central banks use ERM frameworks to identify risks and coordinate their response. Bascand said the RBNZ had "one of the broadest sets of functions among its global central bank peers" and warned
