Central Bank of Ireland’s McMahon lands at UK accountancy firm

Jonathan McMahon, former head of financial institutions for the Central Bank of Ireland, has been appointed global head of bank regulation and restructuring at international accountancy firm Mazars, it was announced on May 14.

McMahon left the central bank in March, having been involved in the large-scale restructuring of the Irish banking system, including the negotiations with the International Monetary Fund, the European Commission and European Central Bank.
