Zambia’s Fundanga optimistic about investment outlook
Caleb Fundanga, the governor of the Bank of Zambia, on Thursday said foreign private investments in Zambia had almost halved as a result of the global recession but that new equity investments were developing.
At a workshop on the Foreign Private Investment and Investor Perceptions Survey, Fundanga said foreign private investment inflows in 2009 had declined to $935.4m from $1,932.8m recorded in 2007.
