UK FSA risk chief Dewar resigns

Sally Dewar, the head of the UK Financial Services Authority's (FSA) risk business unit, said Friday that she will leave the regulator next May. 

"Having reflected and made the decision not to put myself forward for the chief executive role, regardless of future regulatory structure, I feel that now is the time for me to step down from the FSA board and pursue new opportunities," Dewar said.
