Sri Lanka’s Cabraal: bond market deepening in focus

The country will work on deepening the bond market for long-term financing to strengthen economic activities, said Ajith Cabraal, the governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, in a speech on 4 January.

Cabraal said the country's goals were to broaden the issuer and investor base, to improve liquidity in the secondary market and to improve the price discovery process.
