IMF set to upgrade 2010 growth forecast
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) is set to raise its global growth forecast for 2010, Murilo Portugal, a deputy managing director at the Fund, said on Monday.
Speaking to journalists at a seminar in Sao Paolo, he said that the IMF will revise expected growth to 3%, up from 2.5% as given in July. "The recovery is stronger than initially forecast," Portugal said.
