Gambia plans central bank reform

Famara Jatta, Governor of the Central Bank of The Gambia, has said that the bank has started work on reforms within the framework of a restructuring exercise for the enhancement of national economic statistics preparation and processing.

Mr Jatta emphasised that the Central Bank will give priority to statistical development in the context of the ongoing reforms and restructuring of the Bank, saying: " this involves human and institutional capacity building which are pivotal to achieving the goals
