Malaysia's Zeti to head BIS's Asia Council
Zeti's two-year term as head of the council begins in October. The Malaysian governor succeeds Y.V Reddy, the former governor of the Reserve Bank of India who was not reappointed earlier this month.
The council comprises Zeti and here fellow governors from BIS member institutions in the Asia-Pacific region:
· Glenn Stevens, the governor of the Reserve Bank
