Key appointments made as SARB restructures

As part of a restructuring process, two key appointments were announced by the South African Reserve Bank on Tuesday 31 January.

Dr Johan van den Heever, who was Senior Deputy Head of Research Department, responsible for the Financial Markets and Public Finance Unit as well as the National Economy Unit, was appointed Head: Research Department with effect from 1 January 2006.
