Pakistan's Hussain plans economic think tank

The governor of the State Bank of Pakistan, Dr Ishrat Hussain, has said he intends to establish an Economic Think Tank in Pakistan soon after his retirement.

"I will establish the first-ever Think Tank, to be based at Lahore, with the objective to provide policy guide-lines to the government and the private sector to further develop the financial sector and economy of the country," Dr Ishrat said in an interview.

It will be a private sector institution where the economic experts will devise
