IMF upgrades US outlook
The IMF said on Monday that it now expects the US economy to grow by 0.75% next year, up from April, when the Fund predicted zero growth.
The Fund also revised its forecast for 2009, forecasting the US economy to shrink by 2.5%, rather than by 2.8% as was estimated in April.
CPI inflation was expected to be 0.5% in 2009 and 1% in 2010.
The Fund praised the American authorities for their activist
