Bank of Japan Monthly Report, October 2005

The Bank of Japan published the English version of its October 2005 monthly report on 14 October. The BOJ left its assessment of the nation's economy unchanged in the report, saying the economy "continues to recover."

"Exports have continued to increase moderately, and industrial production has also been on an uptrend with some fluctuations. Business fixed investment has continued to increase against the background of high corporate profits and a modest improvement in business sentiment
