Bank of Russia's Paramonova not reappointed

Bank of Russia chairman Sergei Ignatyev said Wednesday 18 October that Tatyana Paramonova would not be considered for reappointment as a managing board member.

The State Duma, Russia's lower house of parliament, extended the term of five members of the central bank's board on Wednesday, however. Their tenures had expired on 27 September.
