Fed's Kohn on the economic outlook

In the speech 'The economic outlook' given on 8 January Donald Kohn of the Federal Reserve said the US economy is expected to continue to grow at a moderate pace and prices should rise at a slower rate in the coming year.

"A very gradual decline in the trend rate of inflation continues to be the most likely outcome, but that path is by no means assured," Federal Reserve Board vice-chairman Donald Kohn said in his speech to the Atlanta Rotary Club.
