Bank of Uganda - Annual Report 2007

The average annual core inflation rose to 8% in 2007/08 from 6.8% in 2006/07. The upward pressure on domestic prices was caused by the increased demand for Uganda's commodities and by the disruption of the flow of trade due to the Kenyan post-election crisis, the report says.
