BoJ to stick to best policy timing - Fukui

Bank of Japan Governor Toshihiko Fukui said on Monday 27 March that the central bank will conduct monetary policy with the most appropriate timing and a delicate touch.

"Monetary policy should be conducted with the most appropriate timing with a delicate touch to reflect changing economic and price conditions," Fukui told a parliamentary committee.

He said it would not desirable to "bind" monetary policy by linking it to the end of deflation.

"It is not desirable to accumulate monetary policy steps
