Moderate economic expansion reported in Fed’s Beige Book
The US Federal Reserve's Beige Book, published on October 10, said economic activity in general expanded moderately across the 12 districts in September and early October. The district of New York, however, noted a levelling off in economic activity along with a weakening in manufacturing activity.
