Is Iran's Mazaheri to be replaced?

Sections of the Iranian media have reported that Tahmasb Mazaheri, the governor of the country's central bank, is to be replaced less than nine months after taking the top job.

Newspapers Aftab and Iran News said on Monday that Mazaheri would leave. Neither report named their sources, however.

The news comes less than a week after reports emerged of a clash between the governor and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Iran's president.
